"The Church that is Seeing Souls Saved and Lives Changed"
Rev. Dr. William H. Bell, Jr., Senior Pastor
Dear 90 Day Bible Study Challenge Participants:
Congratulations on your decision to read through the entire Bible in 90 days. The endeavor you have decided to embark on today will become an experience with the Bible that you will never forget nor regret. This endeavor will be one that will lead to changes in your spiritual life and add substance to how you view the Bible-- now and in the future. At the end of three months, you will have accomplished one of the goals in the life of a Christian. Whether you are reading God's Word quietly by yourself or participating in a church or Class Leader Group, God will speak to you through His words of the Bible.
Those persons who have enrtered into this foray in Biblical pursuit have exclaimed that because of this experience they are challenged, motivated, invigorated, stimulated, inspired, commited and more determined to live for God and after the teachings of Jesus Christ, our Savior. As stated earlier, for many, completion of the 90 Days of Study through the Bible is truly a realization of one of their lifelong goals, and those persons who successfully complete the challenge are more than willing to share with others the benefits of accepting the challenge.
By reading just 12 pages a day, I read through the entire Bible in three months. At the end, and proud of my accomplishments, like a few other 90 Day Bible Readers, I took a month off, then re-read the Bible for another 90 Days. After completing that "cycle" I took another month off, then re-read it another 90 Days. This is and has been my "modus operundi" and I am sticking with it becuase each time I read through the Bible, God supplies me with new revelation, guidance and understanding from His Word. That said, just like me, over the next three months you will experience a range of questions and emotions as you complete your daily readings. Don't get frustrated. Write down your questions and discuss them with me or with your prayer partner. You can address your questions to me via conference or via "Ask the Pastor." I welcome your questions. In fact, I look forward to addressing them.
It is my hope that you will find encouragement and enlightenment as you attentively read every word of God's revelation over the next 90 Days. Whether you are takng this challenge on your own or with us as at St. Mark CME, as a congregation, it is my sincere prayer that through your committment to read and study God's Word that you will begin to see God's revelational plan for you, His people and for His world.
May God bless you in this very desirous undertaking!
